The Ruger Mark IV is engineered for precision, featuring a cold hammer-forged 140mm bull barrel that ensures superior rifling and long-lasting accuracy. The aluminum grip frame is CNC-machined as a one-piece unit and paired with checkered synthetic grip panels for consistent control. The internal cylindrical bolt system provides permanent sight-to-barrel alignment, exceeding the precision of conventional designs.

Disassembly and cleaning are simplified with the tool-free one-button takedown mechanism. A fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight are complemented by a drilled and tapped receiver for mounting Weaver- or Picatinny-style optics. Additional ergonomic enhancements include a comfortable grip angle, contoured bolt ears, and easy magazine handling.

Key controls include an ambidextrous manual safety (convertible), left-side magazine release, magazine disconnect, and two 10-round magazines.
