The Ruger LCR Model 5401 is a lightweight .38 Special +P rated revolver, engineered with a monolithic frame made of aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminum. With a 1.87-inch barrel and 5-shot capacity, it’s ideal for concealed carry and quick access applications.

Performance and Control

The high-strength stainless steel cylinder has a PVD finish and is extensively fluted to reduce overall mass. Its patented friction-reducing cam enables a smooth, non-stacking double-action trigger pull, and the Hogue® Tamer™ Monogrip® helps reduce felt recoil. The revolver includes a pinned ramp front sight with white bar and a U-notch rear sight for rapid target acquisition.
