The Daniel Defense MK12 5.56 NATO is the evolution of the special purpose rifle, built around an 18-inch Cold Hammer Forged stainless steel barrel that features a chamber formed during the Cold Hammer Forging process for exceptional chamber-bore alignment. This, together with a DLC finish, delivers unprecedented accuracy and long-term durability. The MK12 uses a rifle-length direct impingement gas system with the MK12 low-profile gas block built to Crane specifications, and is fitted with a 12-inch free-floating Picatinny quad rail to accommodate optics and mission accessories.
