Tatonka

Tatonka GmbH is a family-owned company based in Dasing, Bavaria, and has developed and sold outdoor gear under the Tatonka brand since the early 1980s.

Production takes place exclusively in two company-owned factories in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City and Bình Định). For over 30 years, manufacturing has adhered to European-quality standards and social responsibility, including SA8000 certification. Unique in the industry, the company regularly opens its factory for visitors through the "Open Factory" program.

Its product range includes backpacks, tents, travel gear, cookware, apparel, and more. The "Expedition Life" philosophy reflects Tatonka’s commitment to creating durable, well-engineered products under transparent and ethical conditions.
