High Speed Gear (HSGI) originated in 1999 as a custom workshop in Swansboro, North Carolina, initially serving the U.S. Marines.

The company manufactures modular magazine pouches (TACO®), padded belts (Sure-Grip®), chest rigs, holsters, and medical pouch systems — all made in the USA.

With production facilities in North Carolina and Georgia, HSGI remains committed to American manufacturing. Celebrating 25 years in 2024, the HSG Products Group includes brands such as Comp-Tac, BlackPoint Tactical, and Crucial Concealment.
